This is a 2-day intensive workshop covering command line (Unix) and R programming. Course material used will be from the Software Carpentry curriculum:
The course is aimed at graduate students and other researchers, particularly those interested in bioinformatics and the computational life sciences. You don't need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop.
PLEASE NOTE: You will need to bring your own laptop to the workshop with the necessary tools installed. There will be a small amount of time at the beginning of the workshop to help with installation problems.
