Brief position description: The successful applicant will analyse human genome datasets with a view toward deploying long read genome sequencing in the clinical genomics setting. This person will leverage their knowledge of human clinical genomics and the importance of genomic structural variation and repetitive DNA to guide the development of further sequence analysis and genome assembly algorithms for a novel long read DNA sequencing technology.
