Brief position description: Postdoc position funded by an ARC grant to develop models relating whole-genome genotypes with outcomes of interest in humans and other organisms, including bacteria. It's a field of great current progress and excitement with many opportunities for further advances. You will work with a small team in Melbourne Integrative Genomics and with collaborators in Denmark, Norway and other centres. You should have a PhD in a highly-quantitative discipline, experience of scientific computer programming and be familiar with handling large datasets.
