Position title: Frontend Developer

Brief position description: As a Frontend Developer, you will develop, deploy, support, maintain, and continuously improve the frontend of national data analytics platforms and services. Your contribution will enable life scientists to perform research in areas of national significance. This includes saving Australia’s threatened species, treating aggressive cancers, sustainability, food security and other areas in the environmental, agricultural, and biomedical sciences.

This is part of a ~$54M project, funded by the Australian Government (National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) via Bioplatforms Australia) and partners across Australia. You will collaborate with a diverse range of national and commercial organisations, including the Australian BioCommons, Australia’s Tier1 high-performance computing facilities of NCI and Pawsey, commercial cloud platforms of AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, and life sciences platforms operated by partners in the EU and USA.
