Brief position description: You have a background in data engineering / data science and a track record for the implementation of data management systems and the analysis of diverse datasets. You will lead the implementation of our data infrastructure, including data ingestion, storage, management and analysis based on FAIR principles. You will work with our scientists, engineers and external collaborators to ensure interoperability of data for harnessing ML/AI data pipelines enabling systems biology approaches to strain development. You have strong, demonstrated ability to program with relevant computational languages (e.g. Python, SQL, R), ideally with publicly accessible examples of code available (e.g. via GitHub) and API integration. You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters. You hold strong business acumen with the ability to make sound judgement and quick decisions.
