About

ABACBS Professional Bioinformatics Community (APBC) encompass bioinformaticians and computational biologists engaged in commercial, governmental, or core facility roles, as well as those interested in pursuing industry or non-academic bioinformatic opportunities within Australia. APBC is aiming to expand ABACBS services through initiatives specifically designed for professional bioinformaticians. Dedicated to professional body formalisation, advancement and career growth, APBC prioritises member representation and establishing bioinformatics related connections between industry, government, and policymakers.

Advocate for the advancement of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology in Australia through collaboration opportunities between industry, government, academia and policymakers.

For Australia to be a world leader in leveraging bioinformatics and computational biology to accelerate translational research.
