Brief position description: The successful applicant will become part of a team developing and deploying novel long read sequencing technologies. You would interact directly with a team of molecular biologists developing novel approaches to sequence and assemble genomes with long read platforms.

Day to day tasks include:

* Analyse and assemble long read genome data.
* Quantify accuracy of genome assemblies.
* Develop documentation and usage guides for long read data analysis.
