Brief position description: Pathology Queensland are seeking a fixed term temporary full -time HP4 Scientist - Bioinformatician (for 5 months) to join our team. Located in Brisbane the primary purpose of this position is to provide bioinformatics advice and support to the scientists of Pathology Queensland, particularly around developing and supporting tools and pipelines for next generation sequencing analysis. The position will support, improve and automate software programs used as databases and scientific tools within laboratories and work with high performance and virtual and cloud computing used within the facility.
