Brief position description: We are seeking a Computational Biologist to process and analyse large-scale population genomic datasets using cloud-based pipelines. You will be part of a team responsible for aggregating public resources with data generated through new sequencing projects to create a novel resource for human genetics that reflects the remarkable population diversity of Australia. Initially this role will involve contributing to the development of cloud-based analysis pipelines for performing tasks such as variant calling, quality control and ancestry inference, and then using these pipelines to build a gnomAD-like resource.
