The role of the Research Officer is to work on statistical bioinformatics methods development and analysis from data generated from cutting-edge spatial technologies.

The Asselin-Labat lab studies the molecular and cellular alterations underpinning the formation and evolution of lung cancer. Experimental approaches include the analysis of genetically modified mouse models and human biopsy samples. We utilise spatial multi-omics approaches, flow cytometry, and microscopy to understand the role of the immune micro-environment on the onset and progression of non-small cell lung cancer.

The successful candidate will be expected to conduct bioinformatics analyses, to develop bioinformatics methodology as appropriate and to work closely with members of the Asselin-Labat and Phipson labs in a multi-disciplinary team.
